Kami Kent-West has a unique background as both grant writer and grant maker. Kami first found her love for nonprofit work as an intern with the Georgia Grantmakers Alliance. While pursuing her Masters, she worked on several grants as part of her thesis research. She then served as a director with a community foundation in Georgia, handling their communications, project management, and strategic planning. Outside of work, she volunteers her time with local nonprofits and changemakers. She has a passion for serving others with skills in writing complex grant requests. Kami received her BA in Professional and Public Writing from Auburn University and her MS in Agricultural and Environmental Communications with an emphasis on grant writing from the University of Georgia.
